Dad, I will always remember walking out on our deck and hearing the generator or log splitter going. You were always fixing something, inventing something, or splitting wood.  You were always busy, but you never asked for any help.    As soon as you could you wanted to go to the lake.  You would be bugging mom to get things packed up.  The lake was your home for the summer, coming out only to shower.   I remember you telling me it was the best place to be.   You and mom loved sitting at the lakeshore watching the loons. 

The boys will miss you, you taught them alot about trees and nature.  We will all miss your stories, your little tricks.  We will miss your laugh and twinkling blue eyes.  You loved having the kids around, they could ask you anything. we all could.   You would do anything for your family.  There is so much I would like to say about you and to you.  You were an amazing dad.

I will miss our morning chats over coffee.   I love you DAD.
