Condolence: I often think of Dean in the context of quite anonymous acts of kindness and generosity. I will remember his wonderful sense of humour. Weekends 40 years in Turiff with Dean, Rod and Eva will never be forgotten. The world has lost a very fine man.

Condolence: Dean Malloy: a fine Christian gentleman; the most loyal of friends, a great sense of humour; a most extraordinary mind; and, in wisdom most excellently endowed. The world is a lesser place without our dear Dean Malloy.

in sadness and with love,

Condolence: We remember Dean as a gentle and gracious man. We have warm memories of his Christmas parties at the schoolhouse and other Malloy gatherings where we always felt like part of the family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dean's family and friends at this time.

Condolence: We remember Dean with great fondness from our student days in Toronto. He was one of the most generous, kind-hearted people we had ever met when we first encountered him at Little Trinity in our mid twenties. As he had with so many others, Dean quickly adopted us struggling students. We were wined and dined in a lavish fashion we had seldom experienced. We laughed together entertained by his outrageous sense of humour. We were new to Toronto and Dean introduced us to many extraordinary aspects of the city he loved so much. And who could forget the weekends at Turriff, memories still etched in our hearts nearly 40 years later; country auctions and fairs, barbecued lamb chops, cigars, more good food and wine, and always rich conversation late into the night with the interesting and varied people Dean gathered around him and nurtured with the same generosity of spirit we knew so well. Dean had strong opinions and was a man of deep integrity and loyalty. Now so many years later, his presence continues to be embedded in our hearts. Our love and blessings are with Dean’s family, especially for the service on Saturday and also with the many who held him dear. We were privileged to know such a gentle-man and trust that all that was good and noble in Dean continues on. "Love never ends" 1 Cors.13:8

Condolence: I hadn't seen Dean since our school days in Turriff but one day when I was singing at the Manor I immediately recognised him in his wheel chair. I went to him and spoke to him but got no reaction until I mentioned my last name 'Colbourne' and his eyes lit in recognition. May God bless him on his journey with his health restored and may his family remember him that way.

Condolence: My condolences to the Malloy Family: Death is one of the hardest things to deal with but the Bible gives us a wonderful hope for our dead loved ones. It says at John 5:28,29..."for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." This will be a wonderful time because we will see our dead loved ones again when Jesus resurrects them back to life. Continue to beg God for endurance until that time comes.

Condolence From: Val Gaebel (Penny West)
Condolence: I have such fond memories of Dean from Enoch Turner times, the fund raisers - Christmas dinners, auctions, numerous events and of course the countless numbers of weddings. I provided all the flowers and decor for the events and Dean was always there to lend a helping hand with a smile & encouragement. Have visited Dean many summers at the nursing home. About 3 years ago when I visited I kept saying my name to him, held a sunflower beside my face and said Enoch Turner. After repeating it a number of times he got it, his eyes lit up, he tried to say my name and pulled my hand close to him. I was blessed even if it was for just a brief moment. He would be so thrilled to know that I married Keith Gaebel, Joan & Barrie's cousin. The material for L'Amable church, St. Andrews came from Keith's grandfather's farm. So blessed that our lives connected while on this earth. I imagine he has even a greater love for classical music as he will be in the presence of our Lord. Loved you Dean
