Condolence: Jodi, Steven, Joey, Tom, & families,
It was so very, very sad to hear today that Ron had passed away. We remember Ron as a positive light, involved with his children, and caring very deeply for his family. We can't begin to comprehend the loss you are each currently experiencing. Your strength is currently in one another and, in time, in the memories of Ron that you will treasure. Please accept our condolences and know that you are in our prayers.

Condolence: Ron was a classmate and a friend of mine in high school. Just recently we re-connected after many years when his dad died. Like Ron, JA Yanch was a great man, and I was a recipient of a scholarship put up by the Yanch family that helped in my university years.

I was looking forward to buying a retirement property in Bancroft, and I knew that I would have at least one friend there in Ron.

I still have warm memories of those formative high school years and although Ron wasn't tall, he was a big presence there.

Rest in Peace Ron, and my sincerest condolences to his family.

Condolence: It is with tears and sadness that I received the news of Ron's passing. His life was a beacon for so many people and there are so many memories that brought light to my life.
I had the honour of being Ron's business parter for several years and his quick wit and joy in people was always at the forefront.
We would be on the way to a client appointment and songs would be "Jody's songs" about every second one! He paid attention to the details of his family. And family came first. Whether it was Tommy's time to play around on the lake or scouting out a faster machine for Joey or Steven, their needs were always on his mind. He spoke of his family often and I was honoured to meet many of you in our travels.
I think he was still planning Tom and Diane's wedding :)
Friends mattered more than business. There were several times that I needed Ron's business advice or signature on something and I knew I could find him (hiding) in a buddy's garage on the South road. Beer and peanut butter.
My family and my life are better for having known him.
He was a keeper of secrets and an ear for so many stories.
He could be trusted and his patience in the world was beautiful.
He once told me that "it's not what you make, it's what you take home that matters". I have kept this advice close to my heart and try to honour it on several fronts.
I still have a number 8 hockey sweater in a frame that Ron made for me in my 2nd year of business. It was to remind me that it was important not to be number one because the drive to get there would cost too much. His focus was more balanced than that of anyone I have known.
Family and friends of Ron know they were loved, it was the best and most beautiful thing about him that we will miss.
God made a good one and it was time to take hime home.
May God bless you all in your memories of this wonderful man.
