I am Pentti Arkilander's son. Goldie was his last girlfriend. I had so much respect for Goldie. We would occasionally email stories and jokes about cats to each other. She refused to move out of her apt. for having a cat when they had a no-pets rule. And she won. My father probably put her up to that.... When my father was stricken with Alzheimer's she stood by him and remained a faithful and loyal friend. For that I loved her. She was so good to my father! I intend to attend the celebration of her life.
