Bob Bartsch, beloved husband of Gwen (Grant) Bartsch, loving father of Kim (& Darryl) Cembal of Kingston, Maria (& the late Robbie) Stewart of Whitby and "Jaime (& Joe) Gunter of Bancroft, loving grandfather of Darryl Jr., Joel (& Zak) and Kori (& Jordan), great grandfather of Cole and Sloan. Predeceased by his loving parents, Gerald and Carmel Bartsch. Dear brother of Donnie (& Loretta) of Oshawa, Eleanor (& the late Lyle) Wagar of Amherstview, Paul (& Joan) of Edmonton, Keith (& Helen) of Kingston and the late Mary (& the late Leo) Kenny. Bob was a dedicated teacher and principal for over 35 years with the Catholic School Board and taught in numerous locations, where he passed on his love of learning, athletics and life. Many of his former students are counted among his friends. Bob was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman. His joy in the outdoors included among other things, camping, fishing and gardening. He had a special love for Algonquin Park. In his younger days, he played and coached baseball and hockey and in later years he enjoyed golf in the summer and making maple syrup in the winter. He was an inspiration to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
