I was so sorry to hear of your loss. When Iris and I first met I was six months old, so my memories of Deer Lake will always include Iris, especially her boundless energy and contagious laugh. Edith's children and grandchildren still enjoy that idyllic place, which will be part of their nature as it is mine. Edith often reminisced about her visits to your farm, taking the train (!) from Toronto to Highland Grove, and the enduring values she learned from your remarkable family.
