Ron was a classmate and a friend of mine in high school. Just recently we re-connected after many years when his dad died. Like Ron, JA Yanch was a great man, and I was a recipient of a scholarship put up by the Yanch family that helped in my university years. I was looking forward to buying a retirement property in Bancroft, and I knew that I would have at least one friend there in Ron. I still have warm memories of those formative high school years and although Ron wasn't tall, he was a big presence there. Rest in Peace Ron, and my sincerest condolences to his family.
